I’m Rush Hemphill, the owner of Spear Athletics Physical Therapy, and I’m excited to be partnering with Pirate’s Cove to bring performance-based physical therapy and personalized training right here in your gym.

Whether you're just joining or a long-time lifter, I offer a comprehensive 1-hour assessment that not only identifies your movement patterns and performance gaps, but comes with an 8-week custom training program designed just for you.

For continued progress, I offer 1-on-1 coaching, partner training sessions, and even monthly remote coaching with built-in in-person support.

Plus, if you’re feeling stiff or dealing with muscle tightness, you can book a 30-minute soft tissue recovery sessions to keep you yourself feeling mobile and improve gym performance.

Initial Evaluation & Custom Training Plan

Includes a 1-hour movement assessment and personalized 8-week training program tailored to your fitness and mobility needs

Great for new gym members, return-to-training individuals, or anyone wanting a clear fitness roadmap

Private 1-on-1 Sessions

Strength, fitness and mobility coaching or performance-bases physical therapy, tailored to your specific goals.

Semi-Private Person Training

Train with a partner or partners in a shared 60-minute session, each program customized to your individual goals

Monthly Coaching Program

Ongoing remote coaching with individualized programming, plus one in-person follow-up session per month for accountability and adjustments as needed

30-Minute Recovery & Mobility Sessions

Hands-on physical therapy treatments including cupping, soft tissue work, manual therapy, and assisted stretching to enhance recovery and reduce pain

12-Week Training & Therapy Package

Structured weekly or bi-weekly sessions designed to build strength, restore mobility, and improve long-term performance. Options available for 1x/week, 2x/week, 3x/week, or 2x/month

All sessions take place on-site at Pirates Cove Gym.
